  16. After checking $status after several C-Kermit sessions I realized
  17. that the exit status ends up in ckermit_status.

  19. I'm running 5A(190) BETA.17 for OpenVMS AXP (and also a similar
  20. version on a VAX).

  22. Is this the standard symbol for the result?  I couldn't find reference
  23. to ckermit_status in the Using C-Kermit book anywhere.
